This inner screen cover goes on the top
of your hive, under the lid. During the summer this inner screen
cover, used with a screen bottom board, will help your hive stay
cooler and prevent the bees from gobbing up on the front of the hive
during hot days. They will spend less time fanning the hive and
gathering water, allowing them to work on raising their young and
gathering nectar. You can also use this inner screen cover during the
winter, if you are using our winter feeder box. It will help give
added ventilation during the winter, preventing condensation build
up.
