Join Western Michigan University’s Geology Club to learn about the basics of geology! Specifically,
· What is Geology?
· Where is it used in everyday life?
· How to identify a rock?
· What is hydrogeology and why is it important?
This class is designed to get kids excited about geology and introduce them to fun concepts they probably will not see in school. Participants will have the opportunity to see cool fossils, dig up and identify their own rock, and complete a hands on hydrogeology activity.
Class is being held inside Rockhound Rockshop in the classroom. Please come show your support for the WMU Geology Club.
